Salon and Spa owners wear many hats and if you are like most, you may feel you are being pulled in too many directions to make major changes in your salon or spa. Buy becoming a member, you will receive a certificate of membership to proudly display in your salon or spa, as well as the Member's Logo sticker for your entrance. You will receive monthly on-line newsletters as well as access to newsletter archives, containing expert interviews, news of upcoming offerings and eco-tips for your business. Our Source Guide will help you find products and companies to help you make changes. The members only Source Guide will contain information from wet goods to building materials and everything in between.
Our member's forum will provide a place to share ideas, creativity and concerns. This is a place where a sense of community is felt and valued. We know this will become a favorite feature of joining, don't be shy, participate, this is your community!

Sustainability Certifications are available for those of you who want to take their commitment to the highest level. Certification is for salon and spa owners who are seriously committed to Sustainability. The definition of Sustainability, means meeting the needs of today's generation, without sacrificing the ability of future generations to meet their needs. By certifying your salon or spa, you will be required to show compliance to different degrees, within all categories listed in the Salon & Spa Sustainability Model. Substantial discounts are offered to members over non-members in regards to certification fees.

The “Member Logo” Members may download the Member Logo for use on printed material and the business website. They will also receive a door sticker for the salon/spa entrance.
Eco-Friendly Salon & Spa Search This is a new tab coming to the NAEFSS Website. To allow the public to search Eco-Friendly Salons & Spas by zip code for their local area, or an area they will be visiting on vacation, to find an Eco-Friendly Salon & Spa. The listings that appear will contain the Salon/Spa's name, Membership status, Certification Level if applicable, and link to the Salon/Spa website. As long as the Salon/Spa is a current member, their business will appear on the listing. What a deal for the cost of membership equaling less than $11 a month!
